If you are a foreign visitor (a person who is not a resident of Guatemala and does not hold a valid DPI / CUI), you must purchase foreign visitor tickets, which are clearly identified because they include the word “Extranjero” in their name. If you purchase tickets that do not correspond to your visitor category, entry to Tikal National Park will not be permitted.
